Thank HOOOOO!!!!

Today’s Crazy challenge comes to us from non other than our dear Frances….AKA:  Stamp Owl!!!  Frances has challenged us to use owl{s} on our card or project!!  What a fun challenge!

The sad part about this is that I knew I had SU!’s owl stamp and THOUGHT that I had the matching punch but couldn’t remember…..well, I have the punch and it has never been used.  How sad is that?????  The stamp hadn’t been used either!  I am truly a slacker!

The base is Dark Chocolate with a mat of Blushing Bride and then of course Kraft.  I punched the clouds using my PTI dies and added some scraps of pink flower paper from one of my MME paper packs.  I stamped the owl on Select White CS using Early Espresso ink and punched it out!!  Thank goodness I had the punch because I don’t think I could have cut it!!! LOL!!!  I colored using my Prismacolor Pencils and added some googlie eyes.  The branches are from SU!’s bird punch.  The sentiment is from Verve‘s Amazing Wishes set.

Don’t forget to check out the Crazies owl creations and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!!!

For my card today, I used the darling Margaret Umbrella!

The base of this card is Select White with some old MME DP.  I stamped Margaret on Select White CS, again on the cloud paper and one more time, just the umbrella on acetate.  I wanted her umbrella to look like the old clear ones like I used to have!!! LOL!!!  Maybe those are back in style now, I don’t know because unless I see it on Pinterest, I don’t know what is in style!!! hahahaha  I cut the umbrella out, added some stickles to the polka dots and adhered it on top of the first stamped image.  I colored Margaret using my Copics, cut her out and mounted her on top of the Going Gray sidewalk!!

Happy Bird-Day…..

Hello!

It’s time for another Crazy challenge!!  This week’s challenge is special!!!  We have a sponsor and it is none other than Stampotique Originals!!!  Our Crazy challenge is to use a St. Patricks Day theme which can include just having green on your card, which is what I did!!!  For my card today, I used the darling Bird Legs.

Isn’t she darling, all dressed up!?!?  I stamped her on Vintage Cream using Black Memento ink and then coloring with my Copics.  I then matted her with True Black, added 2 patterns of green paper from Cosmo Cricket’s Odds and Ends collection, added some PTI black & white polka dot ribbon and a red button.  Oh and I did use my EK Success border punch on the striped piece!!

Now check out the green creations the Crazies have made!!!

Have a Happy St. Patrick’s Day and thank you for stopping by!

Hello Sweet Pea!!!

I have had a very busy week!!  Thank goodness it is finally the weekend!!!!  Today’s Crazy challenge is to use Spring as our inspiration.  I decided to make a baby card because I have not had a chance to ink up my new Funny Stroller stamp set from Totally Stampalicious!!!

The base of this card is True Black with a mat of Select White.  The decorative paper is from Heidi Grace and is OLD!!!!  I stamped the darling image on Select White using Black Memento ink, colored with my copics, punched the right side using my SU! scallop punch and added some old Michael’s ribbon.  Notice the multiple times I used the word OLD!!! LOL!!!!  I haven’t bought new stuff for months!  It’s good though because I am using stuff I have!

Have a wonderful weekend and before you go, be sure to check out the Crazies creations!!!

March Verve Diva Inspiration Team Blog Hop…..

Hello!

Thanks for stopping by!  For my card today, I used one of my old Verve favorites, Dream Big.  I love this set and with the trees and flowers starting to bloom, I thought it would be perfect!  BTW, the flowers are not supposed to be even on the squares and looking at the card now, I should have defined that a bit better when stamping them……it looks like I tried to make them even but failed!!! LOL!!!

The base of this card is Kraft with a mat of one of the Basic Grey Picadilly papers which I punched the top and bottom using one of my EK Success border punches.  I stamped the flower on Vintage Cream CS using Cherry Cobbler, Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight ink and then cut them out using my square Nesties.  I matted the 3 flower images on Dark Chocolate CS, tied some natural twine and added some brown buttons.

Next on the hop is sweet Shannan!!!  Have a great day!!

Hey Cupcake!!!

I want to share a card with you today that I made last week and had forgotten to post!!!  For this card, I used a brand new Cupcake Scarlette set.

This was a very simple card in which I just used True Black and Select White CS as well as a scrap of black & white polka dot DP.  I stamped Scarlette using Black Memento ink and colored using my Copics.  I did add some Diamond Stickles on the cupcake.  The right side was punched using my EK Success border punch {no idea of the name}.  Did you see the NEW Bugaboo’s just released by Totally Stampalicous???  Well, if you haven’t, you need to get over there and check them out HERE!!! LOL!!!

Have a great day!

Where flowers bloom, so does Hope…..

Happy Saturday!

Today’s Crazy challenge is to make a 2 layer card.  I thought it would be more difficult than it actually was.

This was a very simple card.  I have been on a yellow kick for some reason…..maybe because spring is around the corner???  Anyway, I used Kraft CS for the base on top layer.  The leaves were cut using THIS Leafy Flourish MFT die and Pear Pizazz CS.  The flower is from Prima, the sentiment is THIS Plain Jane from Verve, the lace is Offray and I added some natural twine as well.  Before I embossed the stems, I stamped the sentiment using Early Espresso ink.  Oh and the butterfly is from Jenni Bowlin.

OK, now see what the Crazies did with this challenge!!!

Have a wonderful weekend and thank you for stopping by!
