Flowers for a Friend……

Hello!

Today’s Crazy challenge is to make a card or project using the colors Blue and White and one other color.  My other color is yellow!  I had such high hopes for this card and then when I was trying to figure out which buttons to put in the centers of the flowers, I hadn’t realized I had cut my finger and I got blood all over my card!  The good part is that I was able to remove the blood in Photoshop but the bad news is, I don’t have a thank you card to add to my stash!! LOL!!

Anyway, here is my card!

First I bled all over it then I couldn’t get a good picture…..I give up!!!  The base is Night of Navy with a mat of Select White.  The ribbon is SU! Night of Navy.  I stamped the two flowers from Verve’s Sunny Days set using Night of Navy ink on a yellow pattern of paper from Basic Grey’s Picadilly’s Collection.  I cut them out, stamped the stems from Verve‘s Thankful Blossoms set using Wild Wasabi ink and then added some Wild Wasabi leaves.  The sentiment is from Verve’s Amazing Wishes set and was stamped using Night of Navy ink.  I cut this out using my SU! die, cut the edge off and then cut another label using the die and the same yellow patterned paper from the Picadilly collection.
